Volunteers Needed!
We welcome all volunteers at Chatsworth Park UPM. There are many opportunities for you to offer your services. The following are some suggestions for volunteer activities:
- PTA
- School Site Council
- English Language Learner Council
- Help with Traffic Circle
- Classroom / Field Trips
All volunteers must comply with LAUSD Volunteer policy:
- Volunteer Application is an annual requirement. This document is kept on file. You may either print the completed application at home and return to the Main Office or request a copy for you to sign.
- All new volunteers must provide a current TB Test Reading (valid for 4 years). You can submit a hard copy of your TB document to the Main Office or email a picture of the document to our Community Representative. All TB documents are destroyed once they have been verified.
- Volunteer Commitment Form must be reviewed, signed and return to the Main Office. You can print from home or request one from our Community Representative.
- COVID-19 Waiver Form must be reviewed, signed and return to the Main Office. You can print from home or request one from our Community Representative.

Effective September 26, 2023, the Los Angeles Unified Board of Education rescinded its COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Volunteers are no longer required to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
